Diane Blaha: Reflections on Retirement

By: Diane Blaha, CorVel’s Chief Marketing Officer

Those who are lucky, find a job they love and a purpose doing what they love. Those who are fortunate, find a company where they find not only a home, but both a family and a purpose. I consider myself not only lucky and fortunate, but humbled and grateful to find both during the last 32 years of my career at CorVel.

I have had the honor to work with some of the most talented and passionate professionals in the industry who are part of the CorVel family. It is truly an organization that encourages and supports career growth and diversity in leadership. It is a rare organization where an individual contributor – a nurse case manager, is given a voice and the opportunity to grow, mentor, and be mentored to eventually become a corporate executive. That is my story and CorVel is my family.

I have also had the privilege of working side by side with clients and business partners that share this same passion for making a difference through innovation and commitment. We have worked hard, laughed harder, and celebrated success together through all the years, providing me with memories that I will take with me as I embark on the next chapter of my life.

After all these years, with some anxiety and lots of excitement, I am retiring from CorVel to take on the role of a full-time Grandma to 4 beautiful grandchildren. I am looking forward to spending more time with my patient and amazing husband, Ed, and enjoying all that life has to offer.

Thank you to my CorVel family, thank you to all those I have worked with and met through all the years. You will all hold a special place in my heart and I will take all the memories we made together and cherish them forever.
