HOW IT WORKS

Nurse case managers make contacts within 24 hours to:
Begin discussions with all claim stakeholders to understand what happened—and what needs to happen next.
Next, they will contact the provider to:
Gather medical information related to the work injury, evaluate, and assist with developing a treatment plan.
The nurse case manager will then contact the injured worker to:
Discuss and assess the injured worker's understanding of the treatment plan and his or her responsibilities.
