Since 1896, the American Nurses Association has been honoring nurses annually for their incredible work and contributions. In celebration of National Nurses Week, which began May 6th and runs through the 12th, CorVel would like to extend our gratitude to all nurses for their ongoing dedication to improving the health and well-being of others.

From the onset of the pandemic, nurses across the country rose to the challenge to provide care to patients through unprecedented circumstances. Even while facing supply shortages, the unknowns of the virus, and isolation from their own loved ones, they were quick to adapt and provide the care needed to help others.

At CorVel, we have seen firsthand the impact our nurses have on the lives they touch. Not only do our nurses provide care and guidance to injured workers to support their physical health, but they display remarkable patient advocacy and support the emotional well-being of their patients through recovery.

“CorVel nurses are committed to healing the heart, mind, soul and body of our injured workers. They are dedicated, caring professionals who change lives every day. I could not be prouder to call them my colleagues and honor their outstanding service during Nurse’s week,” shared Karen Thomas, CorVel’s Director of Case Management Innovation.

To all nurses, CorVel thanks you for your resilience, courage, and compassion! You persevered in this year like no other.  We honor you and appreciate you!
