CorVel SMS Texting Policy

Effective Date: February 10, 2021

CorVel Corporation and its associated affiliates, companies and subsidiaries, and/or any vendor service providers acting on their behalf (collectively, “CorVel”) provide text messaging (SMS) alerts to claimants relating to updates to their claim and coordination of services.  The following terms and conditions apply to CorVel’s Text Messaging Program.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be 18 years or older and a U.S. resident in order to participate in CorVel’s Text Messaging Program. By providing your mobile telephone number(s) to CorVel, you are enrolling in CorVel’s Text Messaging Program and representing that you are eligible to participate.

CONTENT

SMS text messages sent as part of CorVel’s Text Messaging Program will be used for, among other things, transmitting information regarding your individual claim, assisting in account and claim management, providing customer service, communicating important notifications, and coordinating care.  The messages will not contain marketing, advertising, or promotional content.

CONSENT

By providing your mobile telephone number(s) to CorVel you opt-in and agree that CorVel may communicate with you at such number(s) through SMS text messages, including by messages generated by an automatic telephone dialing system, even if the mobile telephone number(s) is listed on any federal or state do-not-call list.  By providing your mobile telephone number(s), you represent and warrant that you are the subscriber for the telephone number(s) provided and you possess the phone(s) associated with such numbers.
Your mobile telephone number(s) shall be maintained by CorVel in accordance with CorVel’s Privacy Policy, located here https://www.corvel.com/privacy-policy.  By opting in to CorVel’s Text Messaging Program, you accept and agree to have your personal information processed in accordance with CorVel’s Privacy Policy.

FREQUENCY

The frequency of SMS text messages may vary per claimant and individual claim.

CHARGES

CorVel does not charge you for sending or receiving SMS text messages, but standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Please check your mobile service carrier’s pricing plan to determine the charges associated with sending and receiving text messages.

OPT-OUT

You may opt out of CorVel’s Text Messaging Program at any time by replying “STOP” to any message sent via the Text Messaging Program. If you do so, you will receive a confirmation message and no further text messages will be sent to you from CorVel, unless you re-subscribe to the Text Messaging Program. CARRIERS

CorVel’s Text Messaging Program may not be available on all wireless carriers. Mobile access and text message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability and such access and delivery is not guaranteed. CorVel is not responsible or liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
