24/7 Nurse Triage
Immediate Intervention for Injured Workers
At CorVel, we know that behind every workers’ compensation claim is something incredibly valuable, an injured worker who needs compassionate care and quality medical attention from the very first moment an incident occurs.
Connecting patients with appropriate, quality care is the cornerstone of CorVel’s claims management solution. We are the only claims administrator to offer proprietary, in house 24/7 nurse triage, using our integrated risk management system to offer first aid treatment advice, access to telehealth and referral to a medical doctor, when appropriate.
Quality healthcare that is always on call.
Driving better outcomes all day long.
After an injury, responding immediately and intelligently makes all the difference. That is why CorVel’s cost saving, innovative features include access to a 24/7 nurse triage call center for all your employees, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Quick response. Early intervention.
At the time of the incident, employees can call and immediately speak with a registered nurse who specializes in occupational injuries and will evaluate the nature of the incident or injury to determine immediate medical needs. By addressing the case when it first occurs, CorVel’s 24/7 Advocacy program can provide quick and accurate care intervention, often preventing a minor injury from becoming an expensive claim.
Going the extra mile for injured workers.
CorVel not only contacts the medical provider from preferred provider network as the injured worker is en route to their office, but also completes a follow-up with the injured worker and/or provider within one business day, regardless of whether the incident resulted in self-care or formal medical treatment. This follow-up monitors the injured workers and gives them comfort knowing they are being fully cared for by their employer.
