New York Workers' Compensation

New York Omnibus Workers' Compensation Reform Act 1996 (effective September 1, 1996) is an optional certified program that allows for direction of medical care for the first 30 days of treatment.

CorVel has been certified by the New York Department of Health since March 18, 1998. Our first notice of loss service will prevent lost time or facilitate return to work through directing care within the first 30 days. Medical Treatment Guidelines

New York Medical Treatment Guidelines (MTG) Effective 12/1/10
The New York Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) established how medical care is provided to injured workers. The MTG will be mandatory for injuries or illnesses to the mid and low back, knee, shoulder and neck.
