General Description: Provide administrative support to the local office’s IT infrastructure, including Desktops, Networks, and Servers. In this production-oriented role, this person is expected to address technical concerns for one or more of CorVel's local offices. The Regional Systems Coordinator (RSC) reports to the Regional Systems Director (RSD) and is the tactical interface responsible for delivering technology best practices for operations and sales organizations. Part of this responsibility is to help field offices increase proficiency in their use of technology, and to help them stay current in both systems and core applications. Additionally, the RSC will work with the central organizations to improve understanding of field issues related to technology deployment and utilization. The RSC will also be a 3rd tier support for advanced technical issues that cannot be resolved by layers one and two. The RSC must be both business oriented and technology oriented

Attention to detail required. -Technology skills: •MS Office with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint •Visio •Intermediate Windows 2000 Support Skills, including RIS Server, client configuration, WMS, Terminal Services, and life-cycle management. •Intermediate Windows 2000 Server Skills, including server configuration, installation, backups, and troubleshooting. •Experience in general data center LAN network topology and troubleshooting. Cisco experience preferred. -Interpersonal: Expert customer service attitude. Ability to work well with others. -Physical: Visual acuity to read computer screens and written materials. Lifting up to 40 pounds.
Education/Training Requirements: Associate’s degree or equivalent or 1 year of experience in providing administrative support for management. Intermediate skills required in managing Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 Server. Notes administration skills are highly preferred. Innovation and creativity are prized in this environment. Out of the box thinking often required. Positive attitude. Highly organized individual is needed with the ability to multi-task switching back and forth between tasks at a moments notice.
